Middle-aged Confusion
Most people of this website are young who may not understand the middle-aged confusion. I have parents and one child and am a middle aged man typically. Middle-aged means pressure because there are young and there are old in the family.
I have just finished my PH.D thesis defense. I always thought I would release a little after I passed thesis defense. But unfortunately, what I had thought about was just a dream which cant be reached. My family want me to have more time with them. And there are also much work to be done.
Finally, the labour day is coming which means three-day small holiday. Most people want to be relax. But me? I haven't finished my job and should continue. I have to check the homework of my child. ......
Hehe. the state of my mind is not good now. So to make a short story, happy LABOUR DAY to everyone here.

- you must be very clever to finish the PHD defense, but you are not so wise that you can not even enjoy the time with your family, try not disturb your holiday with worrying of your work. here is a advice from another middleaged man: Please think about a matter adequately at the right time rather than inadequately at all times.

- middle-aged seems a bit far for me,but i think that must be very tiresome yet happy,for all your kinsfolk rely on you the most .just take it as an necessary part in our life,everyone will undergo that period

- aaaa???? you are a mid-aged guy? i don't think so. whether a person has stepped into his mid-aged period, maybe the mindset is important instead of the age itself. you have a family and live a busy life like a bee, it's not the mid-aged features at all. right?

- You are a respectable responsible man. You are right to spend as much time with your family as demanded. Now checking the homework of your child seems to rob some of your time for pleasure. But his successful future would be sufficient to make up for the loss you feel today. If your sacrifice could bring about your family members' happiness, it would be worthy to do it.

- being a middle-aged man you are expected much more mature than l . you should list the things ordering by the importance . some trifiles should be deleted . for example , if l were a father , l would check my child's homework . l would teach him or her to be alone since childhood . and l think you should spare this kind work to your wife .father or mother . it would be a happy job for them l think .
