I miss you（9）
Life was not that boring in the meantime. Y was always part
of it, especially when he broke with his girlfriend. He was kind of down at
first but reluctant to tell me the details. And what is worse, I was no expert
when it comes to console people. I would rather deem that nothing but time
could handle it piecemeal, but eventually.
Despite of this, we still argued pointless things with each
other. He laughted at my manly personality while I looked down upon his poor
score in English and made fun of his figure/height as well as his appearance. He
argued he was confirmed as the lady-killer in his college, and I suggested him
give me exact number of the small group of boys in his college and warn him never
to take the rumor that he is cute seriously.
And so on.
But things did change a bit in the following year of my
admission.
He came to act more like a gentle man, as much as Z did. He
showed concern when bad news happened. He used to encourage me that I was a
girl of proven ability and nothing got in the way to my dream, when something
was wrong in my paperwork and I was frustrating. He began to ask my opinion
about his clothes instead of mocking my taste. And occasionally he asked if
there was a boy in my life. I bet that he was looking clues to sneer at, and I did
not want his trick to get satisfied.
I just gave no hints.
