Two days later will be my 28th birthday. I am kind of sad actually because i could not just enjoy my birthday cake and pretend that I am still 28.

Yeah, i could never act like a little young girl anymore. At least I could not admit it openly.with the time goes by,i do get used to call myself aunt in front of my little patients.but still, i would chuckle to myself when some children call me big sister. I reckon them as adorable kids with great intelligence in the future.they must be able to find valuable  things that are dormant inside somewhere, for they have bright eyes with them.

Back to my age problem, it bothers me a lot sometimes.most of my colleagues were around the same age with me, and a great majority of them,either get married or on their way to marriage, while I am no where near that state. That makes things terrible.

Sometimes we chat and when they learn that I am still single ,they just give me the sad faces,not once,twice,but many times. So I get the impression that my life was pathetic.

Believe it or not, I am all for marriage,i just haven’t met the one,but I am really happy with my precious single life at this moment.

In the first place,I get a job to make a buck all by myself the moment I was graduated, and finally adjusting myself to it . Everything at work went so great these days due to my hard work ;

Moreover,I live with 2 caring roommates and we really hit it off; 

And I still hold on to my initial dream,immersing myself in  leaning English at my spare time which makes me so real.

Life is so wonderful right now except the fact that I am 28 and still be single.....

Oh,I have a clue to work things out: i won’t eat my birthday cake that day .

If I keep it in fridge,whole and fresh and the same ,so will my age, i hope sincerely
