People around me all know that I love Adam Lambert, but they are not really conversant with the true reasons why I'm mesmerized by the American singer.

Some assume that I'm attracted by his appearance, quite superficial, Hahn? The answer is YES. I do. Fascinated by beautiful people is part of human nature, just as Oscar Wilde once couched in his book, "It is only shallow people who do not judge by appearance." Maybe there is a grain of truth in it. Believe it or not. He's got those innocent, beautiful and limpid-pools like eyes. Once his contagious, rapturous laughter cross your ears, it can immediately refresh you like a jolt of wine, leaving behind your worries, everything and all. Beside the innate comely face, he takes a sanguine view of everything even though he used to have doubts and self-denial, just like everybody else. Basically, he ignores all the negative abuses towards him, putting those haters in shame. (Later you'll know why those haters exist when Adam is such a lovely boy.)

Of course, there are millions of people who adopt a positive attitude with a charming smile. But few have the vocal ability like Adam's. Besides the passing front man of the legendary Queen, Freddie Mercury, Adam's outrages range is second to none. Fans once joked that he was from the "Planet Fierce"(they made it up). Rock music shows up the powerful side of his voice completely. When he sings live, the quality of the songs he presents us is just as perfect as in studio. Recently, he performed on the EMA (European Music Awards) with Queen. Maybe there are more people who listened to his songs gravitate to him by tender songs like Mad World and ballads of the sort. Those smooth and soft songs he sang show the diversity of his song genre, purely demostrating the vulnerable side of human emotions. He said before that he didn't want to be labeled by a particular kind of music. Insofar as this, I like him more. When he performs in front of a live audience, he sometimes rearrange the melody impromptu and give a new interpretation of the song. So never will you be bored when listening to him. In addition, he wears stylishly.

A bird is known by its note. I gradually know more about Adam through all kinds of interviews and programs he was on. Seems all fans agree on that Adam is a quick and smart man. He deals with hush questions very scrupulously and gives sophisticated answers. Oftentimes he makes humorous remarks which evaporate the tension among people. I remember back in a concert, when two fans quarreled over something, he twisted his comforting words in the song and their bitterness melted soon. He never is a yes-man. If need be, he gives straightforward but perceptive comments to people, standing out of the crowd of honeyed words. You can clearly see what I'm talking about if you look from his return to American Idol Season9 as a mentor and a guest judge on Project Runway. His eloquence and silver tongue are ascribable to his love for books.

Moreover, his way of conducting himself in relation to others makes me adore him. He is a very down-to-earth guy. He treats his friends so heartily and thoughtfully that he could give a hand to them whenever he can, even after being famous. He is a true Samaritan. In January 2011, when his birthday was around the corner, he summoned up his fans to donate to the Water Charity to help people with clean water instead of sending him gifts. As expected, zealous fans finally raised more than $290,000, which is attributed to Adam's 29th birthday.

"There's a thin line between the dark side and the bright side."(From his song If I Had You) He always says that one need to focus on the bright side and try their best to get what they want. With his swoony smile, great talent, quick mind and enthusiasm towards life, it is a COLD man who will not fall for him.
