What a long winter! People are suffering from Covid, hard to get medicines and hospital beds. I've recovered from being covid-positive. Those days quarantined in bed and at home are torturing. All of my family members were positive. A few days ago, I heard a bed news from my father that a friend of his lost his daughter, aged 27, died from high fever caused by the virus. I still remember her when she was born. At that time I was only five years old. We used to live in the same blocks. I was shocked when I heard the news. I did not expect that someone near me will die from this Omicron pandemic.

It never rains, but it pours. My cousin's wife who has underlying conditions got contracted and her conditions went worse. She was admitted to a hospital after being denied by two and we asked a favor from a relative who got Guanxi and send her in a local hospital emergency room. Now her conditions are really bad, still in coma. She needs blood, but it is in shortage. She needs better treatment, but there is no bed until Friday in another advanced hospital. I feel so terrible for her and I feel so terrible for myself as I can do nothing. So is it what people have to been through as the government abandoned control towards the virus and open to the rest of the world? I can't imagine how many people will lost their lives directly from such open-up.
