Two crows challenged each other to see which of them could fly highest, while carrying a sack filled with whatever they chose.

The first crow filled his sack with cotton and laughed at the other crow who filled his, instead, with much heavier salt.

Just as the competition began, it started to rain, as the second crow expected.

The cotton absorbed the rain water and became so heavy that the first crow couldn’t even get off the ground while the second crow’s salt dissolved all the way and he easily flew very high and won the challenge.
