Life in two cities
I seldom watch TV. But for this TV play, I highly appreciated it. It tells a story about a Shanghai boy falls in love with a Beijing girl. When all the other people are in opposition, they get married and together they conquer various kinds of difficulties.
Many people in our society looked down upon the 80’s, considering them to be rebellious. A magazine in America even regarded the 80’s as “me generation” .Yes, maybe they have their reasons. But 80’s also have many advantages, such as innovative and dynamic. We, 80’s have our own dreams and goals. And I firmly believe our dreams will come true if we can persist in the end. The so-called rebellion is not necessarily a bad thing. As what Little Miss Sunshine said, Life is one fucking beauty contest after another. You know school, then college ,then work? Fuck that, and fuck the Air Force Academy. If I wanna fly, I’ll find a way to fly. You do what you love and fuck the rest.

- I know this TV play,I am the 80’s.In my opinion, there are some life and mental state of 80's.First of all, Reading useless, qualifications devaluation;second,occupation of the 80's is not stable and Earning less money;then,the 80's can't afford to buy a house;finally,learning to use does not match.

- Thanks for your reply. I think what you mentioned about the unstable of the job doesn't necessarily mean earning less. And the 80's rebellion makes them to have their own life,that is why many young people choose to be freelance. As to a big house,that's traditional concept. Personally I think , we 80's should not spend all of our time on earning enough money to afford a house. We should do what we love.
