I usually set off to office at about 7:15 A.M. in the morning ,and it takes about 15 minutes to go to office in the morning. In fact ,my rental house is not far away from my working place. It will spend only half an hour on foot , but I usually choose to take bus as transportation, because it is more convenient by taking bus , especially in rush morning.
But the problems comes, it will definitely cause traffic jam in rainy days. I was block on the way this morning and I have to spend extra 30 minutes on bus. I got one seat at first when got on the bus, but one stop passed, I saw a pregnant woman stranded in front of me, of course, I offered my seat to her without hesitation, and she said “thank you” in polite way. I usually arrived at office at 7:30 A.M. in the morning. But I was almost be later for work today, it was 7:59 A.M. when I arrived. Only one minute margin, I get used to be a punctual person.
I used to consider to move my rental house , but I failed to find a suitable one which is near to my current working company. And my house is filled with a lot of luggage and almost the whole set of necessity is available. Such as washing machine, electric fan ,refrigerator , electric water heater and so on. As the thought of it may take a lot of energy and labor power for removing house, I give up the plan. We used to own such experience, after we changed job, have to move our rental house, the first time to find a suitable one, and it is not easy to find a satisfactory one which is available and with good surroundings , the next step was to book a car to fill with all the stuff. We finally felt very exhausting. That is why I am reluctant to move.

- Everyday I walk to the subway station in twenty minutes. And then it takes me twelve minutes to the destination. After that I cost another twelve minutes to the office. With the subway, I do not need to be hasty. Normally I just do that everyday. I like walking in commuting. Of course, I start my work at nice o'clock in the morning so I do not have to set out as early as you do.
When I am totally energetic and feeling quite good, sometimes if the weather is pretty fine, I also choose to the company by riding a public service bike for fifty minutes. I get used to this kind of way going to work.
If it rains badly in the morning, I just have to choose take the bus. And you know, the experience of taking a bus in a rainy day is a terrible. It usually costs much more time than it usually does in sunny day. So I go to the bus station at an earlier time that it provides me flex time to control the time so that I can be surely on time to the office.
So when it rains, you may go out at an earlier time. I see your working time is a little early than mine. But you know, it does not always rain, thus it should be okay for some days that you can get up earlier when you notice it is rainy.
Life is hard. Mostly we do not want to move if we live in the place that we get used to it. It couldn't have gone any better if we live closer to the office. But find an apartment where we live is not that easy. That is really tough choice.
Anyway, we live and learn from life. Though sometimes it brings us some trouble, we get by it since we are stronger than we have assumed. We are the master of our own. That's why we grow up from life with accumulation of life experience.

- Well, it is not too far and not too close to my office. Yes, many people, especially young guys choose to ride a bike going to work at rush hour which is more convenient.
