Recently, there’s been news going around on Sina weibo, that “credit cards will be safer without passwords”. Does this come as a delightful surprise to you or is it just the latest publicity stunt??

According to the article, the staff working in the bank released a policy that if you lose your password-protected credit card, u will be fully responsible for it.however, if the card doesn’t have a password, the Bank will be in charge of it in the event that it is lost or stolen.

Don’t be happy too soon! If you believe this no password-card will somehow be the solution to all your problems, think again. You could be no more wrong. Because, the fine print says that only after you declare your card lost is the financial loss compensated, even if your card has no password! So I think the chances of the bank compensating your loss is about one in a million. unless they can’t process your case at once, and during this time, your card is swiped by other guys!

It’s as clear as daylight! Basically, you can hardly take advantage of the rules of bank! Many experts suggest that we’d better set passwords in an attempt to avoid our lost cards being swiped by strangers .once we find out our card is  lost ,we should declared it at once!

Hey guys, don’t be frustrated, it’s not that big of a deal! I read one piece of news that passwords could soon be obsolete. According to IBM researchers, in the near future, there will appear an innovation, a kind of device, which can identify people by a sensor .when you come to an ATM, the machine will confirm your identity by scanning the retina of your eyes. By then, we’ll never need the irritating card anymore!

Anyway, the situation above maybe is in the air ,or still in the initial stage ,it is a long-term plan . In the meantime, we’ll just have to stick with our credit cards with passwords in order to prevent our monstrous piece of negligence.
