It is described in the Bible that the God created the world in 6 days, with the first day the light, the second separating the heaven from water, the third the land and the plant, the fourth the sun and the moon with seasons, day and night came into being accordingly, the fifth animals, the sixth human being, thus the almighty created the whole world in 6 days, he then take a rest on the 7th day. It is preached also that the whole universe was the work of the God, our galaxy which spans a distance of 100 thousand light years, and billions of galaxy beyond, are all created by the God, who sees all, controls all and could be at any point of the universe as he wishes.

For being a person who was brought up by the teaching of atheism  and the theory of evolution, such concept of creation without any concrete evidence is really hard for me to comprehend. But if not the God create everything, who did this, the only one acceptable to me, should be the mother nature. Though there are still many mystery regarding the universe, with the unlimited development of science, human being is able to comprehend the universe more than ever. Such great scientists as Albert Einstein, Steven Hawkins, presented some theories about the origin of the universe, which is gaining more and more scientific support, from the observation of the universe through the Hubbles space telescope, we witnessed the birth of stars, as well as the demise, witnessed also the black hole, the product of the collapse of supernova, even we have had a glimpse of the original point of the Big bang which gave birth to the whole cosmos. the earth took billions of years and many cosmic incidents to become the one that is habitable by human being, we are enjoying one the most friendly atmosphere, optimum gravitational pull, plenty of resources to sustain human being to have a most satisfactory life possible.

The status of life for human being, however, is far from being satisfactory. Many problems are facing us, the most serious of all, due to the extravagant use of earthly resources, the ecosystem which human being owes the very existence is worsening at an accelerated rate. As we know, minerals took billions of years and oils and natural gas millions of years to came to formation. Yet, most of energy resources we are counting on for living came from coals and oils, the tires, the plastic, motor engines, generators, pesticide, fertilizers are consuming enormous amount of such non renewable resources, and the worse, at the indirect cost of environmental deterioration. The out of dated social system, which presumes that the earthly resources are inexhaustible, encourages consumption to stimulate the ever expanding of production thus boosting the economy which in many cases are inefficient and accompanied with horrible wastage which then counted as part of GDP. The huge wastage came from planed product obsolete, human wars for destruction and construction, unreasonable regulation and patent right which prevent the uses of renewable resources, is at the highest.

Our earth is finite with finite resources, only if it is properly managed can human being have a sustainable existence, we have plenty of renewable resources, such as the solar energy, ocean tidal energy, the wind, and the geothermal, such alternatives should be the savior of human being. The economy should not be based on boosting the consumption but on the resources. And an ideal form of economy should be an integrated one at the scale of the whole world, where resources are efficiently used, transportation minimized, technological development shall be thus directed as to the optimal use of resources and enhancement of living standard. Social system shall be upgraded in consideration of properly uses of resources, equal distribution, and human well being.
