the status of life

1145 views. 2012-11-12 01:51 |

It has been long time since I wrote anything last time, don’t remember what has been written and when. I don’t care. I do nothing but immerse myself in the world of my own work and my own project of learning. It’s not unlike a mechanical life of robot except the need for food and the time spent daily for learning in conscious and provident way. I get up at seven, after washing and breakfast, do my early reading of German, start work at 8, arrange the site work, check the materials status, coordinate between different subcontractors, occasional meeting with clients, then lunch and siesta, get out of bed at one thirty, most of the afternoon is belong to myself except a site tour of checking the work, I practice my translation for about two hour and read for the rest of time up to five, then go to the gym for one hour and fifteen minutes, then dinner, then study German language and reading my English books of various kinds up to ten thirty, take a shower and go to bed, I watch movie until 12 and then sleep. I can call a day off at this time. The next day is a repetition of the same process.

This kind of life give me little time for thinking which, bizarrely, is done in toilet, yes, the toilet, the epiphany of a grand project of learning was actually occurred to me when I was in toilet, the image of being a erudite thinker with profound knowledge of the world and myself is so delicious to me that I am willing to strive to be one of the great by sparing no efforts. To think my finite life could be one of the great army of those great who had pushed and are pushing the human civilization forward, each individual, being so minute with so tiny a fraction of time of existence in the infinite space and time of the cosmos, could be so great in so many things that man can imagine. There is infiniteness in finiteness. Paradoxical as it seems to be, it is the meaning of human existence at the profoundest sense.

I am glad to read your blog again. You set a good example for us. Thinking is better for learning. Learning should be a habit.

frankly, i am still in the process of trying to control the time. To have the perseverance and a patient and continuous energy to be matured in such a process would be gratifying enough to me. i wish you a success in this regard.

Glad to see you too!! i hope i was not being too much ostentatious and self-applauding, but if there is any positive effect on anyone who read this one, i would be pleased in taking the risk.

it took me many years of a journey with many twists and turns to know anything about the life and the world, i find gaining knowledge about ourself and the world profoundly pleasant. there are many other ways to enjoy the life for sure, i would like stick to mine anyway.

Vow, the secret of your high proficiency in English is just revealed in your telling. Having devoted so much time to learning, you are surely erudite. I can not help admiring you for your concentration and persistence as today's world is full of temptations and distractions. You do set an example for the young in this puzzling age.
By the way, may I ask you, if not offensively, how do you arrange some quality time with your family, like your daughter particularly?
