One year ago, I went to the English corner with one of my friends in Lichee park, Shenzhen. From then on, I have never been there for my poor oral English. Once I was proud of my fluent oral English and my oral is what they were always admired for. But now, it’s completely different.

I still remember last time; I try to express my self to a elder that I seldom use English in my work and just dealing with some easy and simple emails, so my English skill is fading with each passing day. I tried for several times but I cannot open my mouth. I don’t know what happened to me. I left my friend and go back alone. I fall into a deep thinking after what had happened.

What I have done in the past two years, nothing but sitting in front of the computer and calculating different figures everyday, answer the calls when needed and sleeping the weekend away as usual.

Been alone In this city I seldom go out on weekends or at night, so when some of my friends asked, is there any places worth of visiting in Shenzhen, my answer was and will always is I don’t know. Till now, I cannot tell which way is to what place or I have to check the road or bus on the internet before I am leaving.

I am not familiar to Shenzhen at all. I want to go to the English corner very much, and I am eager to practice my oral English but I don’t know what I can share with them since my world is a office desk and a rest room for all. People there seemed have many life experiences but I know nothing, I feel inferior.
