my name  Li Juan, I was born in January 25th, 1986, I am the third child in my family, I have two brothers which loves me as much as my parents. Because of the former two boys, my parents hope I would be a girl, luckily, I am a girl. When I was born, my father was a driver, my mother lived in the town where my father worked, and it was my mother's hometown too. they told me that in the town, there was a couple have two girls, they want a boy, and they came to visit my mother and said if my mother gave birth to a baby boy, they'd like to change the boy with their baby girl. My mother said at that time, it's very hard for people to raise three babies, don’t even say that three boys, many babies died little due to lack of food. But that couple lived a well life. She thought if I was a boy, they would love as much as their girls.

In the early morning I was born, the couple came to ask whether I am a boy or a girl, when they heard that I am a lovely girl, they turn around, said nothing and left. Later, the wife gave birth to a girl again. That’s why whenever I came to visit my grandma, people would say “the little girl born in the big yard"when they saw me.  I spend lots of time in my grandma’s home, and I had a good childhood memory there.

My grandpa had many honeybees; he gave me very sweet honey to eat. My grandma had lots of chickens; the chicken feed themselves by the bugs and plants in the woods. And my uncle had different kinds of fruit trees, walnut, plum, peach, and some fruits that I don’t know their names. All of them are so tasty and delicious, so till I grown up, my brothers and I always fight for the chance to go to my grandma’s home. We play together with my cousins, climbing on the trees, went to the river to find crab and fish.  Pleasant memories filled my whole childhood.
