For most of people, going back to hometown during Spring Festival must be meaningful and significant. Any way you have no reason to give up the only chance that you can reunion with your family. No matter how far it is. For those who are working in the southern part or the ones working in the northern part, the forever destination is the home where their parents live.

I watched a lot of short videos recently, especially the car crashes on the high-speed way, someone even lost their lives because of the terrible weather, and someone even keep driving their broken car in order to go home before Spring Festival.

Watching all these videos with a heavy heart, I am just trying to persuade myself of my so-called correct decision. I will stay here this year and not come back to celebrate the Spring Festival with my parents, my brothers and sisters. You know, after getting married, for a girl, it is not a must thing to go back to your mum’s. although I went back during the summer holiday, I still miss them so much.  It’s a hard thing to meet your parents since you have your own little family.

ButI am dreaming of going back. Guess what, I keep my eyes on the WeChat moments and TikTok moments of my home town. They are practicing their performance of Shehuo recently.

I check the videos on  TikTok every day to see how they make progress of their ski skills. Seeing them, feels like I am the one who enjoys the freedom of wind blowing upon ears and cheeks. Moving every body parts freely, they just like the dancing snowflakes whirling here and there. I like snows, I am longing for snow. How interesting it will be if you spend your holiday with people that looking you growing up. You can always find things to cheer you up and make the journey meaningful and full of sweet memories.

How boring it is to stay here, what’s worse, you have to do the last thing you ever want to do---have an eye on your kid’s homework. It ruins your whole day.
