英文日记： King of Melancholy(忧郁之王)

Throughout human history, there have been great figures leading harsh lives, poor vagabonds starving, lovers two-timing(越轨，一脚踏两船), literatis whispering their sentimental emotions, and so-called Wise acting in a stupid manner.
Sadness, for always and evermore, presents itself during some time of your life in various forms--poverty, starvation,suppression, hurtful love, cheating, lies, stupidity, helplessness, self-contempt, injuries, loneliness, humiliation, needs, and what not.
"Show me the meaning of being lonely, is this the feeling I need to walk with?"
Melancholy, a form of beauty boasting of the negative force, usually favors not one in a million, but devotes itself wholeheartedly to the cause of philanthropy.

So, among all that are smitten by melancholy, who stands out the king of melancholy, with his/her depravation sweeping over the whole wide world?

The stage was set on Ancient China, the country with an amazing long history, also filled with too many unanswered mysteries:
A seeming-literati vagabond was sitting in an idle manner at the corner of a hustle and bustle street, with his mustache huddled and uncleaned, his sapless eyes glistening his failure life. He said not a word, but concentrating on a sheet of middle-sized scrapped paper, on which he unfolded, put on a weather-beated table, with hesitation for a minute or two, seemingly like the vagabond was trying to search sth out of his vague mind troubled.
The brush pen dipped the ink, and now approached the surface of the paper, on which he ran with passion. The brush pen, held in this vagabond, seemed to be dancing on the sheet--yet if the brush pen could really dance, it was definitely not the elegant ballet, but that of the low-class get-together dancing from the peasants.
The vagabond was too familiar with the feel of his brush pen, it took him only the period of time spent in burning half of an incense(烧半支香的时辰）, during which time a coin or two were thrown into the bowl the vagabond had placed in the very front of his table.
The picture the vagabond had drawn appeared before the eyes of the mass--Seven Ladies Sent from Heaven(七仙女图）.It seemed to have taken a whole lotta efforts from him that the vagabond began to place a price tag in front of his painting--One Wen Qian（一文钱）.
People were rushing to and fro in a hurried and unconcerned manner on the street when now and then a guy seeming rich walked forward and asked about the price of the vagabond's painting.
It all seemed hopeful at first, but when asked about his social stratum, education, relationship with the officials, to which the vagabond could not help but to give negative replies, which sent the rich turn around and walk away in a mood of disgust.
To his painting, the vagabond fixed his eyes for such a long long time when he sighed,"When can I have a wife? I have made a fool out of myself drawing the picture of seven while I cannot have one(我何时可以娶妻，什么七仙女图，我简直就是愚人愚作，没有女孩可以欣赏我的了)
He got up, slapped the dust off his butt, dissappearing into the gray gray late afternoon...
流浪汉起身，拍了拍屁股的尘土，在黯然销魂的暮色中，身影逐渐远离，直至消失
"Life is a insidious journey with money representing the role of a horse without which I am unguided all through the way."
世途艰险钱为马
The vagabond is the notable celebrity named Tang Bohu.
此流浪汉为中外闻名，妇幼皆知，倾倒天下众生的唐伯虎。

- you seem to have created perfect atmosphere of melancholy in ur story, and i think putting your thoughts into such an essay is no less than a good way to relieve the negative emotion. reading your blogs inspires me to improve my english, not only as for the language itself but also its tool function and connecton to the culture , literature etc . expect more ~~~
