Shattered walls, broken tiles, screaking stools…with dust.
Dust up the surface of the dimly-lit light-bulb which, monotonous and flat, went on and off when I was sitting below endeavoring my schoolwork…
Dust down the chamber of the dreadly-heated fireplace which, monotonous and flat, turned on and off when I was preparing the porridge with what ingredients I could collect for the whole family…
Dust on the humidity and tenebrosity of the corner where the pair of eyes chilling always were on a watch for me.
Raindrops of years dripping, I did not at all get used to the way this pair of eyes were monitoring me until one day the owner of such corpse lights made his howl of heaviness. A blast of wind chilling when a colossus hand-shaped manipulator full of fluffy hairs grasped my neck, retracted and dragged me near him or her, for I caught a scary glimpse of an aged woman’s face, wrinkled, and scared by a macrostoma crimson like that of a basin where blood were filled to the brim…
“Help, save me…Help!”
Waking up with a start, I found myself choking with sweats all over in bed.
“Phew, it’s the third time in a row this week.”
Lately, I have been haunted by this ghost of yesterday. This ain’t a nightmare, no no, but the actual reality that occurred to me, all flowing eternally in the hurtful yesterday, which would never ever fade away from my being.
Ring ring ring…
Aye, there goes the ring, again.
I don’t wanna answer phones lately, but I drag my legs along to pick up the receiver, I feel like a change of air, I feel like getting out of bed for a kind of change for all.
“Can I speak to Doctor Lee?” voice from the other end of line.
“Aye.” I murmured.
“Sorry to bother you on weekends, but the thing is, there is a patient that needs to be operated on in an urgent manner…”
“Don’t bother me, I have my right to enjoy my rest on the weekends…”
Before I finish, there the voice from the other end of line bombards me again.
“The patient’s a VIP, whose parents would like me to let you know that their surname is Rose…”
“Wait a sec, is the patient’s name Jennifer Rose?”
“Precisely, sir.”
“Be right back.”

The weird story hit me this morning and for a change of air from my work, I set out to write it down.
You are not a nuisance, a girl like you could be adored by many guys.

那灼热难耐的火灶，时而熊红，时而灰烬，伴着我们家拮据靠粥熬日子的当初，单调平淡而索然无味，火灶壁面，布满的都是尘。
那从未停止监视过我一举一动的两目寒光，在那潮湿阴暗的角落里，布满的都是尘。
年月漫漫，似雨水般滴去。我从未对这两目寒光的常年监视而感到怠倦并最终融为麻木，直至有一日，一阵沉重的咆哮从这丧尸般凶光的寄主里发出。狂风掠过处，一只硕大的节肢毛手向我袭来，抓住了我的脖子，手一回缩将我向他身体拖近，不，是她，因为惊骇中，我察觉到那是一幅老女人的脸，布满了皱纹，还有即将要把我吞没的一张血盘大口…
“救命，救命啊…快救救我!”
又是惊醒时分，满身是冷汗，我喘着气。
“这已经是这星期第三次了。”
好似最近都被昔日之鬼所缠绕，我知道这并非梦魇，是切切实实发生在我过去的昔日。昔日是痛苦之流，在永恒地淌溪着。我知道用这一生，也磨灭不了那悲戚的昔日。
铃铃铃……
唉，又来电话了。
最近我都是有电话不接听的。不过话说回来，我感觉到自己需要换口新鲜空气，我需要离开床舒展一下筋骨，于是我懒洋洋地拖着双腿朝话筒走去。
“可以让李医生接电话吗?”话筒另一端传来了声音。
“我是。”我喃喃着。
“周末打扰你，不好意思哦，但是呢，现在有一个病人急需你动刀…”
“你好烦呐，周末我有权利享受我的悠闲！…”
还没等我讲完，话筒另一端又向我传来了劝说轰炸。
“是这样子的，这病人是我们医院的贵宾，对了，病人的父母要我转告你他们姓Rose…”
“等下，病人的姓名是Jennifer Rose吗？”
“是的，李医生。”
“我马上回来。”
