I think that the stock market is like a battlefield where a bloodless war proceeding. Everyone in the market must choose to join green army or selling army as well as red army or buying army. If you have no stock in hands you’re a green army or selling army soldier. If you hold the stock for a long time you’re a steadfast red army. In a bull market, I am a sturdy red army. In a bear market, I don’t belong to red army nor green army but neutralistic.

Now that I regard the stock market as a battlefield, I must learn something about the war or strategy. It reminds me of an ancient strategist called Sun Zi who told us that if you want to win a war you must make yourself be invincible. That is to say, you must know whether you have weakness in the battlefield before you charge or attack. In another words, when the market goes bad your holding won’t follow the bad market. In order to keep such advantage, we mustn’t buy those stocks whose price has been pushed up to the sky. As we know, the higher the price is the heavier the hurt will be. The peak is beautiful but it is cold and dangerous.

As Sun Zi said that the victory may be known by us but we are not able to make it. When I buy a stock whose price is at bottom, I know the victory but I have no capacity to make it.
