Good evening everyone!

I'm sorry I've not written anything (or read this site . . .) for a while now - I'm stuck in the middle of an exam period at university so I'm very busy at the moment! Exams here at the University of Sheffield run from the 25th May - 12th June so we are actually in the middle of the exam period - I just had an exam this afternoon and I've got three more exams next week before I'm finally finished for my 3rd year. (after finishing my exams I shall officially be a batchelor of Engineering!)

I shall hopefully think up something useful to teach - I'm going to be teaching colloquialisms and colloquial language in my next English class on Tuesday evening so if it goes down well there then I'll write a short blog on it! Although I must apologise as most of the colloquialisms will be British English - after all, I am English and not American - so I don't speak like an American!

I hope everyone is well, and summer is arriving and pleasant - it's been nice here but it's getting very humid at the moment, so I think we'll be expecting thunder & lightning in the next few days . . . I hope so!
