Oh my God, am I overslept? I picked up the ringing mobile right away. There was a voice “Good morning, my dear, am I bother your sleep or did you get up already? I am in downstairs now”.
Well, she is my Aunt, a cousin’s mother. She phoned me yesterday saying that she wanted to bring me dried sweet potato and inquiring when I will have time to meet her. No matter how hard I tried not to trouble her, but she was firm in her decision. One of her relatives in the country came up to town to visit her and bought her scores of specialities. She knows I prefer dried sweet potato that she cannot help troubling herself to be my deliverer. But I didn’t give her an exact answer.
It’s only 06:30.
“Good morning, Auntie, why don’t you come up upstairs?” She said she is too busy and have to send the grandchildren to school so she asked me to go downstairs. She said she cannot wait sharing the food with me. How blissful and touching. It took her nearly an hour from her home to my living abode by bus.Thank you, my dearest Aunt.
Aunt loves me more than her own daughter. I have got no idea; it seems they don’t appeal to each other. Lucky me, I am bound up with my Mom. Aunt cares me very much; she calls me very often just like we are in a relationship. When she gets something special she will think of me spontaneously and preferentially. What she does for me is unconditionally and willingly. To some extent, she spoils me. She doesn’t allow me to share any housework when I visit her family; it makes me feel like a queen or somehow stranger and don’t even want to pay a visit again. I don’t like this custom indeed. We are family members; please don’t let me have the feeling like strangers. My Mom is quite the opposite; she is glad that I can help. That’s why I seldom pay her family a visit and feel guilty that she becomes my deliverer.
Aunt Chen is my superior. She loves me more than anyone else in the firm. It was very funny that she stole an apple for me again. I asked them to leave me an apple rather than mangoesteen before I go out. To my surprise, they left me mangoesteen instead. Why mangoesteen but not apple? Xiao Ye said she forgot. Its okay, mangoesteen is palatable too, I smiled.
Hilariously, Aunt Chen stole an apple for me from the reception room. How funny. Anyway, she often gives me the best of anything. She cares me, loves me and protects me like a guardian angel.
