I was especially like a child who named Diandian in the classroom after been two months “Children King”.

Diandian is a half past three years old tot, apple face, big eyes, curl hairs and as lovely as a doll. I like her not because of her cherubic countenance. The children nowadays are all look endearing and cuddly. What impressive me the most is that a child’s innocent goodness.

Diandian is only on the way to her fourth year. She has already known how to take care of others, understand courtliness, know about forgiveness and she is unselfish. Furthermore, she is different than many spoiled kids in her era. For instance, when every time distributed the toys, she never snatched with kids but waited patiently for their picked out and then she picked a favorable one from the odd. Plenty of kids might litter, but she never or even tagged along behind the kids to help them to pick the rubbish up and put it into the dustbin. She knows how to look after others, one day the heater of the house had broken down; she put her spare thick clothes on a little girl, who is smaller than her. She liked an undersized adult to help the inconvenient elders when she went for an outing……

I witnessed Diandian often did good things spontaneously and found that her nature is kind and pure. Maybe she is a little Angel.

Once, Diandian took out her fondants that from lunch time distribution to comfort a sobbing boy who was tripped and fell by his shoelace. When I saw it, I went over to help her to comfort the little boy as well. After anything was alright, I squatted down and said to her earnestly, “Diandain, you are a good child”.

She looked at me; it seemed she couldn’t understand why I said this abruptly.

I said: “because you do good things always, I have seen it all in my eyes, I like you”.

Oh, she responded to me tenderly and meanwhile looked at me and talked to me earnestly: “because I must be a good child so that I could find my Papa and live with my Mama and Papa forever and never apart”.

“Where is your Papa?” I was surprised by her answer.

“My Papa! He had flied away”. She said tenderly and opened her two little arms imitated the flying gestures to and fro. Mama said, Papa was a good person so God was given him a pair of wings and let him flied to a place called heaven. Mama said, she is a good person, so later on God will give her a pair of wings too so that she could look for Papa in heaven. Mama said, only good people can have wings to fly to heaven, but bad people, God will not give them wings and won’t let them to heaven. They will live in another place that no toys, no apples, no sunshine, no melodious songs, no animated cartoons…… Therefore, I must be a good child, I want to help people, and I want to be a person of love, so God will give me wings and when I grow up I can fly to find my Papa….

Her soft voice liked narrating a most vivid fairy tale. Her innocent eyes were filled with the best of the world. At that moment I cannot speak a word and profoundly moved by her. To such a mother who to her child fairytale guidance and a child to fairy tale’s trust.

I learnt later that Diandian’s father was contributed his 30 years old life to save a lady who was fell into the water in the last summer time. He was a common bus driver and a city “Civilian Hero”.

In the end, I understand is who given this child angelic wings.
