Have you ever drunk unboiled water? When I was little, my Mom always reminded us that we cannot drink raw water for convenience, because it contains myriad bacteria that may propagate enterozoas inside our stomach. It sounded terrified so that we deferred to her advice well.
I had no idea why the air conditioner went on strike unexpectedly last night. I checked the power, the plug and the adjuster. It seemed everything was alright. But why did it shut down suddenly? I was bewildered as well as bemused. Luckily, I have a fan hasn’t used for several years, but it worked perfectly well so that I avoided been adrip with perspiration. Before long, I found out the cause of the problem, it was the plug fuse blew out. The broken plug was served for an air conditioner, a set of PC and a kettle. I didn’t know how to fix it so I changed a new one instead.
I get used to boil the water before I go to sleep and drink two cups of it when I get up. It is a habit I have formed few years ago. Boiling water is easy, what I need to do, is to fill up the kettle and presses a button it can done the job automatically.
This morning I drank two cups of water as usual. When I went home this evening, I was shocked by what I saw. The plug of the kettle was pulled out, God, I pressed the button habitually but I forgot to plug in… Lol… It means I drank two cups of unboiled water… I was anxious to tell my friends and asked them whether there will worms grow inside my stomach.... God, they burst into laughter… They said that the taste of unboiled water and boiled water is totally different; Anyway, they comforted me that I will be fine because the water has been refined. But, but but, I really couldn’t distinguish it… It seems there are a wide variety of water I drink everyday. I truly cannot tell which one is raw…...
