This morning I caught sight of a resplendent sunrise that rising brilliantly in the veiled sky. What a ravishing sunrise. I was bewitched by the loveliness of it. Suddenly my sleepiness was driven away. How relished! Unfortunately, we cannot even stop for a while to admire the beauty because we were on our way to pick Uncle Chen up at his home to hospital. How marvelous if I get up earlier, I surely can catch such glorious sunrise often. Sometimes an ephemeral delectation is satisfactory. It tells us that we must sacrifice something before the enjoyment.

I was so glad to see Uncle Chen’s wife’s younger sister who is always wearing a seraphic smile. She went to hospital earlier for making an appointment with the doctor so that we didn’t have to queue for the line and wait. It seems making appointments with the doctor has become her duty. In fact, she doesn’t have obligation for that. How great she is! She is a quintessence of goodness.

Uncle Chen’s memory has got no improvement yet. He still forgets things easily. Thankfully, he is not suffering from severe amnesia. Uncle Chen is nearly 80 years old, I reckon it must take him some time for recovering from forgetfulness due to his age.

I was exceedingly whacked when I was on the way back to my destination. “How come you look exhausted?” Uncle Li asked. “Poor me, I am lack of sleep that makes me fatigued. By the way, I want to buy the bus tickets for this Saturday. Can you drive me to the terminal bus station?” I asked. “I am afraid I cannot find a parking place there besides I have to go back to office for handling something after sending your back, but don’t worry I will help you buy it in this evening. It is okay?” He responded spontaneously. I was surprised as well as shocked by his answer. How lovely he is. How much I am obliged to him. I really don’t know how to thank you though we knew each other very well and the bus station is only a short bus ride away.

There are so many lovely people in our life but how many of them we noticed their loveliness? Don’t take anything for granted, they have no obligation for us.
