"Cough” this word never existed in my dictionary, it mingled with my mixed feeling, recently. I deeply realized how bad it is. And this word never escapes from me.
I am down with Cough for days. Up to now, I am still at mercy of it;
I was deeply moved by my boss’s words this morning. I didn’t feel well when I woke up, coughing and dizzy. Auntie cooked porridge for my breakfast. During my breakfast, I was feeling terrible and thinking whether I should take a sick leave. Well, after breakfast, I was okay. Then I went to work. Unfortunately, coughing drive me crazy in the whole meeting. After the meeting I decided to ask for a sick leave. I took my application to my boss’s office; he did not see it yet then asked me when and why. I said “now, I don’t feel well”. Then he asked a lot (he’s caring) finished signature, I walked out of his office, I was preparing to leave, and he popped into my room. He said anxiously, let me asked someone to drive you to see a doctor, how do you need someone accompany you? Are you okay by yourself? I said “it’s alright; I can go by myself, no worries”. Then he said “Ok then, please get there by taxi, and take care. Company will claim all the charges for you, after that, he kept on speaking, why don’t you go to see a doctor early, do you know that it’s necessary to see a doctor at once if you get ill.”
Tears trickled out of the corners of my eyes.
