Today, I gave my presentation in our institute. Before this presentation, I reported this with my group leader in his office. He praised that it is very excellent report. During weekend, I downloaded some English words for presentation, such as how to introduction, say thank you, ask questions, and then I wrote the transcript for my presentation, after that, I read my transcript some times. Finally, I practiced it some times and control my presentation time in no more than 30 minutes.

Practice makes perfect.

I am very satisfied my presentation, I did not image I can have so good display. I did not recite my transcript, but which gives me confidence and logic to organize my spoken English. During my scientific presentation, there were several times laughing for my humor in express. In Germany, saying thank you is always welcome. I expressed my appreciation for their help during my staying for seven month.

After the presentation, my German colleagues give me many good comments for my presentation. And my work was selected to be published in their next inner report in this institute. They will give me a goodbye party to thank my efforts during my staying, which is not easy for a Chinese to get the feedback.

Well, what is bad news? I hope to attend a scientific meeting in my research field in Europe organization which will be held in Romania this year. I am very glad that I will meet some old friends and I will have a good opportunity to give a presentation to introduce Chinese work in this field. But the Romania embassy in Berlin did not give me the answer for my visa. My flight ticket is for tomorrow. My passport is now on Berlin. They checked and accepted my documents and told me I had to wait one week. But I had not got my visa after two weeks. I had to cancel my flight ticket, but as I know, I can not get the money back, because this ticket was in discount. I canceled my hotel reservation.

This is life, you may get good news, also bad news will touch you. What you can do is adjust your attitude to life. Enjoy it！
