Intercultural communicaiton

552 views. 2009-5-23 01:05 |Individual Classification:life|

I am in the week 7 of spring quarter in the school now. My European-American partner and I did a wonderful presentation in the last class meeting of intercultural communication. I even thought that I have talent of acting. I guessed I am used to be very comfortable meeting all kinds people from all over the world here now.

Our teacher is a European-American  mid age woman who is original from Germany. One of the stereotypes for German is very serious. Too serious can be interpreted as picky. We have to read 30 pages study material wrote by our experienced teacher and post our answers in the online study website. This class is half online and half meeting in the campus. She pays very close attention to everything we wrote and gives our feedback to revise our answers. It was a fun class.

It's not easy to speak in front of others in public and answer questions based on your presentation. Glad you did it, and you must have made some efforts!

Even though it is widely-considered that the German are serious, I strive for a close underdtanding of this country, by learning Deutsch. Danke.
