In recent years, much more attention than ever before has been paid to adolescent crime. It is imperitive that we take prompt and proper measures to tackle this problem before things get worse. In order to help children to stay away from crimes, we can take actions in at least three aspects.
First of all, education is one of the most effective ways to protect the children from crimes. Teachers should afford the students consolation and comfort for the purpose of promoting their physical, intellectual and emotional development. At the same time, they can educate their students how to become law-abiding citizens and how to face up to responsibilities. Meanwhile, it is necessary that the schools add more extra-curricular activities for students to keep them psychological soundness.
In addition to education through written materials or through the words of teachers, children can learn from real examples. For instance, we can show them examples of real people around them who commit crimes and the consequences of their crimes. These examples are meaningful for children to understand the importance of keeping away from crimes.
Finally, people who are around children, such as parents , should pay more attention to children's daily life. More care and love for them will certainly reduce the risk of children's involvement in crimes. And if we can notice their strange attitudes and abnormal behaviours soon enough, we can help them to solve the problem and stay as far away from crimes as possible.
In conclusion, through our continuous efforts, we can help children to stay away from crimes.
