Everything Depend On Oneself

As the saying goes ,we get ample food and clothing by working with our own hands . We can not live forever wuth protection of others .You must study hard and work hard if you want to make your living and life better.Others don`t have the responsibility to help you all time when you are in need .The best way to make ourselves have a better future is to develop our ability to work independently.
You will be a foolish in the eyes of others if you always get help from others and not want to improve your ability .Everything depend on yourself and not to be a foolish in the eyes of others .

- On my first day of school six years old, my mom took me aside at the school gate and told me.
Here you will start your lifetime of learning. Depend on others and you would depend forever. What you learn is all yours and makes you powerful. Nobody can take your knowledge away. I looked up to the big school signboard which said "HK International School - Knowledge is power". Indeed nobody can take away your knowledge.
In front on my desk are written the following words on a board:
"Grant me the peace to accept the things I cannot change
Give me the courage to change the things I can change
Give me the powerful vision to see what need to br changed"

We usually live in the regulations set by the others ,but it does not mean that we have to rely on the help of others to survive.Your mother is right .Depend on others and you would depend forever.We must make ourselves have ability to survive no matter what circumstance .
