Every street of Kabul is enthralling to the eye（喀布尔每条街道都令人目不转睛）

Through the bazaars, caravans of Egypt pass（埃及来的商旅穿行过座座市集）

One could not count the moons that shimmer on her roofs（人们数不清她的屋顶上有多少轮皎洁的明月）

And the thousand splendid suns that hide behind her walls（也数不清她的墙壁之后那一千个灿烂的太阳）

A masterpiece from Khaled Hossein.

Khaled hosseini, who was born in Afghanistan but migrated to America later. He is famous for his《The kite runner》，but I like the 《A thousand splendid suns》better.

From this book, I understand the Afghanistan’s culture, religion, religion conflict, grim domestic public situation and the women’s tragic and discriminated fate approximately during that turbulent era.

The Afghanistan’s women left a deep impression on me. Frankly speaking, as a 21 century lady, I can’t understand the Afghanistan’s culture and region on restrict the right of the women, I  can’t accept their tradition. I acknowledged that they tradition result from the special region, religion and the turbulent situation. But when think of the two roles in that book, I can’t help crying for their suffering life.

The Afghanistan’s women showed their strong and pardon through a special way, they can’t change their sex, they living environment , but they forge their quality to adapt to it.

There are no words can express my mood after read this book, it touches me deeply. It makes me re-understand our fate, the meaning of life and love. I know I can’t experience what they had experienced in real life any more. I feel sorry for them but I admire them more.

Love is tolerance, love is forgiveness.
