Losing weight seems to be a lifetime project for any woman. I made my share of it. But I’m not talking about how- questions here, I’m sure you can find loads about them online for free.
Well, before reading my writing, thinking about this question, will you?
Last Sunday, I received a call from my mother-in-law in another province. After chatting a lot about daily life, she said,”xiaoli, are you going on a diet and trying to lose weight? Don’t do that silly thing. See how thin you were last summer, that was not good-looking at all.” “no, no, actually I’ve gained even 10 plus jin now. ”I gave a prompt answer for fear she might worry for too much. To be frank, I really lost some weight last summer, 10+jin lighter than the year before last. It’s true. I did yoga, run, and stride on the campus playground whenever I had time. And meantime I controlled my take of food a little. But this year, this year, well, I even don’t want to mention it at all. For the good figure only lasted several months, remind you, what strenuous effort I’ve taken to keep this” good” figure. Alas!
To be honest, I’m trying to lose a bit of weight recently. Hush,hush, not to reach my mother-in-law’s ears. Well, I hope my white lie does no hurt to her. I’m a bit fatter, I know this for sure. So…
My mother in law really cares about me, she keeps asking me to stand straight, when she was with me at my home, she knitted sweater for me and my son.
