If You Rest, You rust
My father is a farmer. He has been working for about fifity five years. Though he is about to celebrate his seventieth birthday, he is still working from dawn to dust. Every time when I come back to see him, he would tell me “early to bed and early to get up in the morning make you healthy”. This reminds me of one famous saying by Helen Hayes “If you rest, you rust.”
“Helen Hayes (October 10, 1900 March 17, 1993) was an American actress whose successful and award-winning career spanned almost 70 years. She was eventually to garner the nickname "First Lady of the American Theater", and was one of the few people who have won an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony Award.”
Albert Einstein also said “Genius is 1 percent talent and 99 percent hard work.” It’s known to the world that Einstein is definitely a great inventor and scientist. I can not imagine how much the human development has been propelled by those who are talented and at the same work so hard, like Albert Einstein, Helen Hayes.
Great men and women, by their continous hard working, can achieve so much; while ordinary men, though can not be compared with these great men, at least can have a healthy body like my father by continous work, to which Chairman Mao attached great importance. Why not? " If you rest, you rust."
Note: I have been thinking of “Rights” and " Love“ for quite a while. I happened to read two essays by Mr. Zhou Guoping about “Right” and "Love", two sentence of which I think are fabulous. Please kindly find hereinunder the attached sentences.

- My father is nearly seventy-years-old this year. He works as a dustman in our residential area. Every morning he has to get up early, at about 5:00 am. I always feel quite guilty in the depth of my heart for I don't have the abilities to make him lead a comfortable life in his old age.

If your father still is still fit enough for work, let him work as he likes，for that will make him think of himself useful for the world. Working is really sort of all beneficial.
