Next month I will undertake a challenging job, to become a teaching assistant, which means I will have to deal with those tricky American undergraduates everyday and everywhere. I know how hard this task will be. I remember that each semester of my four years' undergraduate life, students badgered our wretched TA for either a higher grade or a pass in every possible way ever imagined. Crying pleadingly, taking on a suicidal look or whatever. A guy in our department, in order to get a full mark in the final, even sent such messages as is able to make one throw up. Like "I find myself so lucky to have received your careful instruction this semester, and am really thankful for every little piece of your help"... I am just waiting to see what those foreign "little ghosts" will perform to me in the future...
