these days in lhasa, we are having a local religious festival-----SaGeDaWa, it is when people commemorize the birthday, enlightenment and death day of Buddha, A lot of believers, during these days, stop eatting meat and becoming a vegetarian for a couple days. and yesterday we did at home, we had only some potato and stir-fried green vegetable as lunch, a bowl of noddle without any meat was dinner.
today I just failed to stick to the principle and couldn't resist the temptation of nice dishes after I came across an acquanintance of mine, I was preparing to buy a telephone card, on the way I met him and his kid who was carrying a airplane in hand which was a paper folding. and then he draged me to eat sichuan dishes, he asked for several dishes, shredded pork with chili sauce, water boiled pork slices etc etc, and I just couldn't say no to delicious dishes and had a great deal, you know sichuan dishes usually go pretty well with rice.
it's kind of hard sometimes to stick to do something, what I want to do next is to reduce the intake of meat as much as possible in the following days, and in fact, eatting less high fat food also protects you from getting fat and prevent some cardiovesular dieases as well.
