Last Tuesday I decided to accept the offer from an investment company and then rendered my resigning letter to my boss, out of my expectation, two days later,  that is last Friday, my boss told me that the management center would offer me a salary increase if i stayed. I was so surprised cause there were hardly any precedent in our company to detain staff's resignation in this kind of salary increase way, and it was the evidence that i had been the key person in my department,  so that my boss was not sure to find a proper candidate to replace me.

After two days' thought, i decided to stay and refused the offer from the investment company, though the increased salary was still a little lower than that of the investment company.

Since i will stay here, i have to going on deal with the optioned troublesome colleagues, an offensive fat woman. It is the fact that she is very fat, and i guess she is about 90KG, 165CM, what a horrible figure, so that she is still single till now though she is already 35-year-old. Well, it is not my target to sneer at her improper fitness, since she herself is careless about this.

What i do mind is her offensive character, which drives all of us depressed and angry. She is the senior administrative officer, while just about 6 years ago when she entered, she acted just as admin assistant, that is, she got 3 promotions in the past 6 years, almost every two year once, which was a miracle in our company.

Our boss is very satisfactory with her, in his eyes, she is capable, active, almost all-purpose, maybe a little critical, and every year he gave her the best score in the annual appraisal. However in our eyes, she is just skilled at flatter, and magnify her own contributions.  Even so, we have no reasons to despise her, on the contrary, we should study from her for her capability to show herself. What really trouble us is that, she always regards herself as the landlady, then keen on having a hand in all affairs in every department. For example, if we finance department are talking about sth about accounting, having no concern with her, at once she will concentrate herself on our talk, and if the topic is completely beyond her knowledge, she will just listen, then report to our boss if necessary; while if she has a little knowledge about the topic, even a little smattering, she will burst into our conversation with a special shrill voice, just showing off to our boss that she is all-purpose,  and others can't compare with her.

This is just a common behavior for her, so that we have to aviod talking anything in front of her. Well, about in 2008, three colleagues in admin department chose to resign at the same time, to express their anger and resistance, but our boss was fully blind with those abnormal events.

Anyway, I still have to confront with her in the following workdays. What a damn reality.
