A group of impulsive men
Just about one hour ago, we were having lunch at a small restaurant, and something terribe happened. Though we were not the principals, we were a little shocked and frightened.
It was so hot outside, we entered the restaurant, it was so crowded, and it cost us a little time to find an empty desk to sit down, set the order to the waiter, then wanted to stop for a breathe. Befor we recovered from hot brain, there broke out a loud crying suddenly, then came the terrible sound with the tables and chairs pulled over. We all jumped from the chairs and run away quickly.
Just as other phyisical confilct, two tables, about 6 men, they fought in hand-ply, crying and shouted curses. As the restaurant was too crowded to dodge, we all left our tables and looked at their ridiculous performance in about ten meters away. No one can dissuade the hand-play till the policemen came here.
After the policemen's query, we all got the cause why they burst into a fight. Two men of one side (totaly 4 persons )were smoking and driinking, then came the other side, with a pregnant woman, they sat down nearly, cause other tables were occupied. Then the woman's husband requested them to stop smoking, but was refused rudely.
What a ridiculous reason, How ridiculous the men were!

- When will people learn to be considerate? Cigarette smoke can harm a baby because the nicotine in the smoke will affect the brain. In most countries, smoking is not allowed anywhere when there is a roof over your head. Even smoking at bus stop is not allowed. Time for China to pass laws to discourage smoking in public.

In most countries,Right, maybe most of we Chinese don't understand the harm for smoking and over-drinking in our mind, cause very few expectant fathers would give up smoking.
In fact I myself was born in a full of smoking and alcohol family, my father ever declared he couldn't live on even one more day without smoking and alcohol. What a terrible mind!

It is not his fault. During his difficult days before, life was so hard that they have to get themselves intoxicated so as to forget their hardships and frustrations.

During his difficult days before, life was so hard that they have toMaybe as you said, smoking and drinking was a very important communication way in that era, even in nowadays. However that had heat every member in my family, so that my younger sister and i have stong resistance against smoking and especially drinking, cause almost very day, when my fathter was over drunk, we would be forced to listen to his meaningless lecture for hours, which really was a kind of tortures for little girls. It was indeed the nightmare for us.
