From about two years ago, i felt a little pain in my right knee, especially when up and down stairs, there seemed some needles stabbing into the bones. Since i had heavy arthritis from my childhood, i ignored this pain, but this year it got more and more serious, so that i tend to be scared to climb stairs. Last week i put my symptom into the web, and was frightened by the anwers on Baidu web, that all the symptons were directed to an illness named '髌骨软化'. It was just the name that was enough to fighten me, i at once went to hospital.

Firstly i chose the nearest hospital which i was familiar with the location and layout, in addition it was a good choice for traditional chinese medicine. I was lucky to register a specialist clinic, after about one hour's waiting, i finally got my turn to see the doctor. The doctor heard my state of illness, and simply pinked my right knee for about 2 seconds, then got the conclusion, 'your condition seems a little serious, since you are so young, you should pay more attention to your health, so i suggest you have a detailed check. Of course, if you don't want, i shall prescribe some drugs for you.' That was over, then i was dismissed even if i had no idea about my disease. The so-called detailed check cost me much after i finished the payment, what was worth, i had to go to a far-away branch for the check, so i refused to take the check, and got the refund. I figured out what the doctor cared was how to seize more money from us patients, whatever disease you got, he would suggest you have a detailed check.

After consulting with my colleagues and searching in the internet, i chose another hospital which was famous for its orthopedics. This time the doctor was young, but he was patient and kind, and he checked my knee very carefully, asked me some questions about my illness, then he told me that he felt my disease was common and was not serious, and what i should do was to take good care of my knee, avoiding any burden, taking some medicine if necessary.  I was so surprised with his conclusion, thus i told him the suggestion from previous doctor, cause i was completely confused with these converse solutions. Of course he still insisted his own point of view, and refuted another viewpoint.
