We're TUJIA Family. In my hometown, there's a custom on marriage. Only having a wedding ceremony is real marriage,marriage certificate is a only a form and can be ignored. If a girl is pregnant before the wedding ceremony, it's a very shameful thing. It's humiliatory.Especilly a girl with a big belly when she is marring. And it's not allow to do the ceremony in the house, it's said that the girl's family would have a bad luck.As the girl is thought not clean.But in my husband's hometown, getting a certificate is the most important, the ceremony can be ignored. If your economy is not very good, you can treat your relatives after a few years or when you borned a baby or when the baby has one or two years. Nobady can criticize you if you don't do the ceremony and don't treat them. But in my hometown, it won't work. If you would get married or have a baby, you must junket your relatives , neighbors and friends. It seems tell everybody I got married or I have a baby.
Yeaterday, my sister gave me a news. She is pregant, She has a baby. And they have told my parents, But it makes my parents very angry. they even don't want to answer her phone.I consoled their and asked they don't think too much. But they can't forgive and understand my sister in a short time. So now my sister also fells very agonyed. Originally, her husband and our relationship is very bad, now as the happening of this things, we really don't know how to improve our relationship. My parent's heart are broken. This Dragon Boating's Day,they came back. And my mother warned my sister"Don't sleep with him before you get married." So now my mother thought my sister is a wayward child. their mood is also not very good. My sister also can't understand why my parents can't forgive her? Maybe they can't accept the fact in a short time, as they came under the infulence of the custom and long habit. After all, she is their daughter, they will accept it at last.
Now, the only thing I can do is bless my dear sister, Hope her choice is right. Hope my brother-in-law can brings happiness for her. Wish their little baby everything goes well !
