It is universal admitted that an increasing number of English-learning training classes have been existed in almost everywhere on the earth, and that also means that English has been the most preferred international language throughout the world. However, there is a question in my mind: why we study English?

A vast majority people maybe answer this: we spend so much time on English learning in order to communicate with foreigners in the daily life. That’s right, of course, and in some extent, that’s really an imperative reason that we couldn’t ignore and neglect. Some people because of work requirements, contents and family or friend relationship, they have to communicate with foreigners every day, they have no choice but to learn English well otherwise they will lose their jobs.

And there is another question for us student: why we study English? Some students maybe reply immediately that in order to find a desirable and ideal job, actually, in my mind, that’s just part of the truth.

For us students, I think English level or English skills are just the basic and premise of our all professional study. We could understand and deeply learn some foreign professional knowledge after we learned English well in that why we students have to learn English well, that’s my viewpoint. With the develop of China all industries, almost each industrial field need to refer and learn from the most sophisticated and advanced foreign knowledge, in this sense, we students have to learn English well.

Don’t still think we learn English is just for passing English examinations or just for communication with foreigners, that’s really just the beginning of our all life study, and what we should do now is to make full use of our leisure time to make a greater progress in English learning.
