Thanks to the opening ceremony of 2009 western China international economy& trade fair, traffic of Incubation Park would be cut off from 0:00 to 14:00 tomorrow for some security reason. We are informed to work at home in the morning. Roughly translate, that we will have an extra day off. Though the notice said we should arrive at the office after 14:00, no one takes it seriously. If we left home about 14:00, we probably would manage to arrive at office around 15:00---only two hours left before punch out. So why bother? Still I text my boss a message to ask for his permission. Unsurprisingly, two minutes later I receive his reply: No problem.

Mildly I thought perhaps that is the reason why he got promoted—he never gave anybody a hard time on trivial matters, and he knows what he should focus on. In comparison, P is much harder to please and always, always detail-oriented--- which is good for an engineer, but too bad for a manager.

So I will get an extra day off. Luck for me, I couldn’t find my drive licenses, and tomorrow I could take this chance to apply for a new one.

News said that our company will relocate to Software Park at the end of this year. No big difference for me. I can still take my husband's ride and I will still do what I need to do. Perhaps it is not bad, fresh place, fresh air, who knows?
