Great news!!  I just received Immigrant letter that they have approved your application. National visa center will contact you about processing steps... (I am not sure how long, but I guess maybe within a year). So please be prepared if you guys really want immigrant here, a lot of challenges you will face.

I stared at this email from my sister-in-law, and it took quite a moment for all the words sank in. Realization seeped through like a knife disturbing all the inner calmness of mine. I never really thought about it before, because we are supposed to wait another ten years to get our applications approved. Certainly ten years is a long, long time and why should we be bothered by something that might or might not happen in a very distant, faraway future?  However here it is. Again, the fate is jumping at us at the most unexpected moment. Perhaps we don’t have ten years to get us prepared. It would be much simpler if we have only us to consider. But now we are parents, we have to take Xiaoyu to the consideration. Logically he would be better provided for in USA--- more opportunities, better educations and perhaps better life. I love China, but I have to face the reality. However, it takes a lot of courage to leave everything behind and start from zero in a strange country.  Honest, I am not sure we could manage it. Perhaps again, I am expecting troubles before cross the bridge. Nothing is settled before we actually get our visas.
