Opportunity presents itself in an unexpected way. Three months after my trip to Sabah, I am now blessed with another opportunity to visit Malaysia. This time, my destination is Redang Island, where the wide-known movie More More Tea Inn（夏日麽麽茶)had been shot. If I was not so occupied with many other things, I would have been ecstatic about it long time ago. However, until now---only a dozen days left before this wonderful journey, I start to feel excited.

    It requires a lot patience and strength to organize a trip. I planed this trip, if not perfect, but the best I could do.

Schedule and Cost:

April 2nd to April 3rd

So many troubles for this reservation! It is the Saturday and also the last day of Malaysia’s holiday, most of hotels are neither fully booked nor at the unbelievable prices. We had to change our original plan of flying directly to Redang Island after arriving at Malaysia because it was impossible to book a hotel at reasonable price there this day. What a pity!

Now we have only two short days in the island.

April 4th     

Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Terengganu AK5380  07:05—07:55 (RMB 680 for a round way ticket)

9:30  Jerry to Laguna Redang, 2n/3d package in Laguna Redang ( RM 578 per person)

Laguna Redang Resort---the shooting place of More More Tea Inn. It is almost as famous as the movie itself. Like many other hotels in island, it also offers 2n/3d package for the visitors. The price is including breakfast, lunch, dinner, boat transfer and three snorkeling trips. These two days would be the essence of this trip. Full pre-payment is required and it is not refundable. The whole booking process was easy but requires of some patience. Two days after I sent the email, I still got no information from the hotel. So I dialed their reception and was told that they would reply my email within three days!  

April 6th

Kuala Terengganu to Kuala Lumpur AK5385 13：10---14：00

 Now, Everyone Can Fly is not just a slogan for AirAsia. It does open many possibilities for oversea travelers. The round way ticket (Chengdu to Kuala Lumpur) cost us only 1420 yuan per/person. However it was not the best price they offered. If we are lucky, we could even get tickets for free!

Hotel:

You can always find hotels you need from Agoda or Ctrip. The prices at Ctrip are very competitive, sometimes even better than the ones you could get from travel agency. Full payment is not a Must, but if you’d like to secure the reservation, you’d better provide your credit card information.

I know it's impossible to take everything into consideration. I can only hope everything would end well.

Next stop: Redang Island. I just can’t wait!
