The deaths of the others, though heartbreaking, but still are predictable in one way or other. Sirius and Snape died. Their ends are determined from the very beginning. They have shouldered too much----the burning guilty of their mistakes; the great loss of their loved ones, the haunting images of the past. Death for them is not a punishment but a mercy. Lupin and Tonks also died. But at least they were romanced and married to the right one, they have given birth to a healthy boy—who, no doubt, would live on with their legend. Even Dumpledore, even Dobby…. They all died for a reason.
But certainly JKR would spare Fred and George----the inseparable twins who can always bring us the laughers and joys? They are like the sunshine, always cheerful and energetic. There is no trace of danger impending, no clue of gloomy ending upon them. However Fred died and George was handicapped. Again, Harry Potter has proven itself not to be a fairy tale. In a fairy tale, a boy like Fred and George would live happily forever with their creative jokes. But Harry Potter is by no means a fairy tale.
“Don’t bother to keep in touch.” Said George to Umbridge. Then the two sped out of the open front doors into the glorious sunset. Thanks George and Fred, they still make us smile even in dark and heavy HP5.
