        We haven’t seen each other for ages. How are you recently? Where you have been? Are you still travelling around the world, or have you already got tired and stopped some where to settle down? Time flew by without knowing it. Like the sand slipping through my fingers, the tighter I tried to hold it, the quicker it flew away.

         Years came and went, but nothing has changed. I am still working around the clock to attend the needs of my son, my job, my study and my family, Sometimes I hear my heart screaming for some rest, but I just can’t stop. I remember that you used to call me “gyro”. Yes, I am a gyro. If I stop spinning, I fall.

         I’m preparing for CATTI test now. Wish me good luck! W couldn’t understand. From his opinion, it is a waste of time. It sounds pathetic for a person at my age to bulk up the resume by taking such tests. But perhaps it is the key that could unlock the door to the dreams that have burned so fiercely within me. Who knows?

         I am close to end the story, the story I once promised to you that I would wrote. But I slowed down, for the fear when the moment I finished it, there would nothing left for me to hang on to the past. Too sentimental, am I?

         Yu is quite a boy now. How I wish you could meet him someday. He shows no preferences like he used to do. Basically, he would give his big, sweet laugh to anyone who plays with him. Every weekend when I spend time with him, he shows great reluctance to fell asleep. Poor little thing, he usually ends up sleeping all day on Monday. My mum always blamed me for winding him up. But I prefer to think that he likes playing with me rather than accept the fact that I am an incompetent mum.

        Sometimes, think of the old days, I can’t help but wonder about the future. Would we have the chance to meet again? Would the time finally build a high wall between us? I am not sure. But I promise you that I would try my best to keep my soul as young and sweet as you remembered even my face has already acquired a wheathered look.
