No piece of cake

After I created this English Blog, I've received many sweet comments on my English. Everytime I read them, I was burning with embarrassment. I know I am not that good, and there is still a long way to go before I really achieve something.
My SIL offered me a project last Friday. It's a English-to-Chinese translation on a company's introduction. Since it is for an engineering Company, so the article is full of technical items I barely understand. I turned to a dozen of dictionarys for help, and for some sentences, I have to check word by word several times. I was like a baby in the woods, dizzied by the words and phrases. For a moment, I thought I was going to throw up or something like that.
After I finished, I got a general idea about things like ESD or latch-up test, but there are still things remained puzzle to me. For example, what "fab out" means in custom IC engineering? Fab is explained as extremely good in the dictionary. It doesn't mean any senses there. I even googled fab out, but still gained nothing.
Frustrated, I can't help but think that perhaps I should redefine my carreer path. Being a translator is too good to be ture. But I know I would never give up studying English. Not after so many years' efforts

but basic on interesting i want to learn english well。verytime i want to speak something but i cloud not open my mouth,i want to write something but there is blank in my brain! i need some help!

- Wow. You are doing technical translation? That is a specialized field and quite difficult. It is no an easy task. Your English level appears to be quite advanced and you seem not satisfied about that. You indeed have high aspirations.

- you know what , you always belong to the excellent , at least compared to most of people like me here . you are so modest . anyways , i believe in you , you will reach somewhere some day , coz as i knew before , you are a person of will power and great persistence , success is just around the corner . and all your efforts will be paid off soon !
