Green Tea, who I have often mentioned, is one whose companionship I cherish the most, because she possesses the merits that I have constantly benefited from.

Her taste, it is true, is tinctured with some pleasant bitterness; and she may be justly termed as the modesty daughter of Mother Nature. Some affect nutrient and green, others boast of having been related to this glamorous celebrity or that, but green team is the only drink I ever know which truly brings the essence of health into my life.  

Without much ado, she warms my heart during every chilly night. She cheers me up when I feel frustrated, misunderstood and miserable. In those lonely moments, she tells me the story about unbounded love, the story about where she came from. Long long time ago, in a very far away kingdom, there lived a pretty girl and a brave young man. They loved each other and led a happy life together until one day the young man was hit by a mysterious illness and was dying. The girl climbed up to the mountain to pray for her lover's life. On a ledge of vertical precipice, a bud sprouted bravely through the frozen soil in chilly winter. “It is the gift from Heaven.” thought the girl. She brought the bud home and planted it in her garden. Everyday, she used its leaves to make tea her lover to drink. To everyone’s surprise, the dying young man was getting better day by day. However when he made a miraculous recovery from his illness, the girl, broken down by worries and fatigues, died in his arms. To memorize this brave girl, younga man spent his whole life nursing the magic tree she brought home. That’s where Green Tea came from.

Believe it or not, Green Tea does have a magic healing power. Spend some time to enjoy the crisp green while savor the tea, and you would find that all the sorrows and fatigues seem to melt away. When its fine aroma fills the room, when its warmth penetrates the chilly air, the time stands still for this moment, where you can enjoy the peace of mind, and throw away all the worldly worries.
