With divorce settlement between Nicholas Tse（谢霆锋）and Cecilia Cheung(张柏芝）having been officially announced, this over-lengthy soap finally drew to an end. However the public’s curiosity has not been such easily satisfied, many of them have turned their attentions back to the famous scandals years ago—which might or might not lead to present’s ending.

I seldom gave serious attentions to Entertainment news. Nowadays, anything

related to showbiz seem to be too corrupt too be trusted with so many fake and

half-fake scandals popping in and out. However years ago when scandalous drama

about Edison Cheung’s （陈冠西）pornographic photos was sweeping the whole country in a wild speed, I, among many others, also took a look at those pictures out of curiosity. I dropped half way when a thought suddenly hit me: Cecilia Cheung is a mother, and her son happens to be round my son’s age. What would Lucus feel about his mother’s obscene pictures being exposed to the world? At his age, he is starting to explore the outside with his pure, innocent eyes. And certainly those pictures should not, and hope would never meet his eyes.

Cheung have led a wild lifestyle--drugs, rampant sex, rock-roll, things often told in the movies and novels. But it doesn’t mean that moral fundamentalists of the Society are also falling down with them. They don’t represent the majority. Call me

conservative or ignorant, whatever you want, but I still believe in pure love, still

think that the sex is just a gesture of love and without feeling sex has no pleasure

at all.

What really sends a chill down my spine is the fact that we seemed to enter into a new era, where everything is available at our fingertips. Our brains start to become retarded with constantly being exposed to boundless virtual world. We continue to search for something stronger to satisfy ourselves. Public interests seem to justify any behavior when everyone was driven by the gains and interests. We can’t help but wonder what next uploading to the net could be strong enough to catch our eyes?  

Enough is enough! If we don't know where to draw the line, we, along with those

scandal-producers, might create a real monster who feeding only on moralities, or

even worse, our souls.
