How come this has ever happened? It’s on the highway, for the god’s sake. I slammed on the brakes and I heard the scream of the brake. Then, just like that the truck disappeared. It lasted no more than a few seconds, but I felt like an eternity. For a moment I couldn’t move, with terror in every tingling fiber of my body. I thought my heart would pound out of my chest. It was terrifying, the kind of take your breath away terrifying.

Both my son and my mum, who were sitting behind, didn’t see this truck coming. Of course, that didn’t prove anything since they dozed off at that time and didn’t look out of the window at all.

Until now I was not sure if I was too just tired and I was imagining it, or there was another road beside the highway, or anything else. It’s creepy no matter what.
