It took me half a day to clean up our utility room. What a mess there is! It’s really exhausting. My husband said that I should leave it to our nanny. We recently hire a part-time help at home. Honestly, it’s a great relief for me and now I can have more time to do things I really want---tidying up is certainly not among them.

Still, I thought I’d better do it myself. After all, the most important of this project is to give away those unnecessary items---honestly, there is a lot. I used to be such a helplessly impulsive spender. Just can’t let a bargain go, and look at where I got into now. I should say I used to have a terrible taste for cloth. I bought so many cheap items, fashion in style but poor in quality. At my age, it’s a huge mistake to wear like that. So after wearing them a few times and I just stuff them into the utility room.

No nanny could do this give-away thing for me. But my husband has an unfortunate misunderstanding and he believes that every woman have super powers and with a simple snap of our magic fingers, everything would automatically put into order. How difficult it can be? He says that a lot. Of course, as a household-chores virgin, his words don’t count. To be frankly speaking, he is an idiot in this specific area.

Anyway, after several hours’ hard work, I finally could put my both feet flat on the floors. Less is more. And never, never be impulsive in spending. I should always keep that in mind.
