Life is like a circle and the majority of people would have four stages of life, from the spring of childhood to the winter of old age. Nothing can stop the aging process, like no one can stop seasonal changes.
Our childhood is like the spring, full of life and promise. But even in this stage, laughter and tears come side by side. Birth accompanies with screams, growths hand in hand with pains. When green buds burst into life, so does the mosquitoes and the weeds.
Someone might have a very short spring. They are forced to grow up overnight. In that case, there is highly likely going to be a violent summer. The summer is like the youth, energetical and ruthless. You take whatever you like, you think you can do whatever you want. And the summer could also be violent, with its suffocating heat. Everything is burning, even your life. You need to be careful in summer, or you might get burnt by the heat of your desires.
Midlife is like the autumn, the most beautiful and rewarding season. When gingko trees turn your world into the gold, you want to slow down to savor the beauty because you know that won’t last forever. Sometimes you feel like the falling leaves dancing in the wind. You get swept by the fast-running current of your life. Autumn, is beautiful but also very sad.
Then finally the winter comes and you enter into the last stage of life. If you’ve learnt to accept your broken self, make peace with the world as well as the death, the winter could be peaceful and silent. The snow finally embraces the world, cover every trace you left, and then everything returns where it begins.
As for me, my only wish is that I can live through the four stages of life, to experience different beauty of each reason, for that, I’ll fight till the last drop of my blood. (Over dramatized)
