Culture is pervasive in our daily life with four of its features—symbolic , shared , learned and adapted . Every day , when we are conscious or unconscious , we have to make contacts with others who are familiar to our common life . We live in a whole society in which we need to communicate with others . As an individual , what we aspire to do is to express our own opinions and make us attached to the communities we live in.

We people create different cultures and in return the cultures what our ancestors and we create may affect our life from different aspects . Opinions related to the influences of the culture and communication in people’s life vary from person to person . I think that different cultures and communications reflect different lives .

 For example , in China , people are conventional and reserved . They have complex manners in the way they get along well with others . But in west , what people over there need to observe is easier . They respect themselves and also respect others . They have more confidences to behave themselves and communicate well with others . It means that people in west have more freedoms without too many limitations .

We all know that Chinese people who invite friends to have dinners in a restaurant would like to pay for the whole bill himself . This is a manner to show his kindness and hospitality without any shame and embarrassment . Instead , western people prefer to pay for their own bill and they all consider it as a good habit which makes them not shamed .It is not a fuss .

 And also , Chinese like to solve problems in a moderate way so that they can please every aspect and make their responsibilities seemed to be safer . But actually the fundamental problem sometimes does not be solved completely . As a result , they have to repeat the problem again and again . To the contrary , people in the west prefer to dispute with others and insist their own opinions before others can find rational justifications to prove that he is wrong or unconvinced . They will put more attention on how to solve present problems instead of not offending people who have great prestiges . Finally , people who engaged in solving the problem may reach the same point with their efforts and succeed in finishing it .

From my point of view , culture and communication also interact with each other in our life . Because of the development of techonology and the update of information , because of the need of globalization and the development of economies , the whole world is necessary to be tighted to become an entirety . It is a tendency to the adaptation of culture . From this situation , we can contact with people who with different skins , different languages and different cultures . Because of the extending of our social circle , we can make friends with others from different nations and different regions . It is also an attempt for culture and communication to approach to each other deeply .

As we all know , there are various foreign brands flocking into Chinese market , such as KFC and Mcdonald . When they first came into the Chinese market , they might not be accepted by many Chinese people because of the differences in two kinds of cultures . But people sometimes are good at innovating . If the foreign  investors in China want their products to be more popular with Chinese people , they will need to breathe new life into their products . What counts most is the Chinese elements and traits . They should take advantages to do some surveys about what attracted Chinese and also attach these surveys to their new products . Because of these communications , they learn more about cultures come from foreign countries . And since then most of their products may be appreciated by the majority of Chinese people .

People come from different places can share their experiences and stories at the same time . It’s a universal phenomenon for them to communicate with each other and learn from each other . Nowdays , people learn two or three more languages to improve their skills or make a living beside their mother tongue . Because of the diversity of the culture , people have more chances to touch all kinds of communications . They can use their own way to communicate and express with co-culture elements .  And it is also a good measure to make different cultures into an integral part . People in China will not be ashamed of hugs and touches which friends or relatives try to show their expressions . It is common to see that some foreigners are adapted to the life in China and they are easy to communicate with indigenes . Different people in an area can chat with each other by using several languages easily . This is also the communication of different cultures .

 In educational field , according to educate students and make them to be high-quality elites , how to raise them in school is another problem . As the social institution is consummated and it also becomes more stable, every person who lives in such an environment needs to be aware of their own responsibilities and duties . As a result , the culture has played an important role in this process . Trough the influence of people’s different communications and lifestyles , culture becomes an access to permeate through all walks of life . And in this situation , no one can live without cultures .

All in all , we live in the influences of multiculture in which we can’t come to a halt . We need to learn more , share more and adapt more .
