Too often, young children believe that what they see on television is an accurate representation of the reality.

They can be so curious to learn more information about the outer world and also achieve enough skills. For example, if they get touch to cartoons and comics,they can practice their intelligence and make their minds develop faster and faster. They can strengthen their abilities of communitication and expression. However, in fact, what children can learn from the TV are not all good. On TV, there are many bad things whicn can also persuade children to go on the wrong ways. For example, some violent and blooded events coming from cartoons may affect children’s values. Because some commercial businesses just want to achieve for their profits, they sell their original products just for their own sakes instead of paying attention to the meaning of education and public interests. The direct victims may be children as they can not distinguish the good things from those bad things correctly. They may follow the suit to fight and compete with others for some savage goals.

Recently, following the prevalence of some teleplays which focused on passing through the history and came back to the Qing dynasty, this theme gives children more imaginaries of history and their idols of Qing dynasty such as QianLong’s fourth son and eighth son. Maybe children want to have a look at their idols or have a happy encounter with their idols, they believe in the plots of teleplays and attempt to end up their lives just achieve for a chance to go back to the past. I think this indication the TV gives children is not only like a mistake or an error, but also like a misfortune which expanded to our society. It can also arouse people’s awaraness and try to correct children’s believes.

In conclusion, TV is not the only way to learn more about things what we really need. Children should be educated to approach more channels to recognize the world they lives and balance the attitudes.
